Upon arrival you will be transported from Calgary International Airport (or a hotel of your choice) to our hotel in Banff. Our aim is to get everybody to Banff by early afternoon.

Day 1-3 Banff National Park incl. the bow valley parkway

Welcome to Banff National Park. The first National Park in the whole of Canada and one of the most special too. Surrounded by stunning mountains on all sides Banff has a certain electricity incomparable to anywhere else. We will be going to such brilliant photography spots as Two Jack Lake, Vermillion Lakes and a trip up the Sulphur Gondola. The Lake Louise area of Banff National Park is beautiful piece of land in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Home to two world famous lakes: Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake. We also can't miss the drive along Bow Valley Parkway stopping at Morant's Curve, Johnston Canyon and our favorite - Castle Mountain. A late afternoon hike to Larch Tree Valley, which at this time of the year will be in bathed in autumn colours will be the highlight of our visit to Banff National Park.

Day 4-5 IceField Parkway & Jasper National Park

The Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic roads in the world, is home to many incredible locations. Including stunning sub alpine lakes, deep canyons,  waterfalls, and one of the biggest ice fields in the world, The Columbia Icefield. On this stretch of road we will be going to Peyto Lake, Mistaya Canyon and Bow Lake. Further north on the Parkway are such picturesque spots as Sunwapta Falls and the famous Athabasca Falls. Once we’ve arrived in Jasper we’ll be going to Maligne Lake (with a cruise to Spirit Island) and Pyramid Lake. In this portion of the tour we will be giving individual guidance and post processing critique.

Day 5 - 8 Exploring Canmore and Kananaskis COuntry

In Canmore we will be exploring the Bow River and many of the reflecting lakes, ponds and reservoirs it has to offer. We’ll also be on the hunt for Moose in Kananaskis Country. Make sure you’re ready to hit the road early. Sunrise at this time of year is around 7am. The Three Sisters, Ha Ling Peak and Kananaskis Country are some of places on our photography list. The Spray Lake reservoir, wedge pond, and The Upper Spray Lake, which will also be visiting, are all magical and comparatively undiscovered.
